In December 2020, 610 registered bed nights were recorded in Äänekoski Region (-35.2 %), of which 590 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 23 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 89 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 35 percent from last year's December.
44 nights (-75.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 570 nights (-25.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 12,100 registered bed nights (-23.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,000 (-26.1 %) for foreigners in Äänekoski Region, in total 14,100 (-24.1 %) registered nights.
