Registered bed nights increased 46 percent
In May 2021, 750 registered bed nights were recorded in Äänekoski Region (+45.6 %), of which 700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 52 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 45 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 49 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 46 percent from last year's May.
250 nights (+1,130.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 500 nights (+0.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 2,900 registered bed nights (-34.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 120 (-91.1 %) for foreigners in Äänekoski Region, in total 3,000 (-47.4 %) registered nights.
