Registered bed nights increased 74 percent
In March 2022, 86,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Agder (+74.0 %), of which 76,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 9,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 64 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 250 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 74 percent from last year's March.
27,600 nights (+153.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 20,200 nights (+57.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 163,000 registered bed nights (+38.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,500 (+142.9 %) for foreigners in Agder, in total 183,000 (+45.7 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 22 percent compared to earlier year. In Agder, length of stay in March was on average 2.1 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (-23.5 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Agder on average 2.1 nights (-18.3 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-36.3 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 124 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 89.4 percent were domestic, and 10.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Agder on average 2.1 nights (-0.56) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-2.3).
