Registered bed nights increased 97 percent

In April 2021, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Älmhult (+97.3 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 117 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 103 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 23 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 97 percent from last year's April.

430 rooms (+161.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 920 rooms (+54.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 7,200 registered bed nights (-31.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 570 (-75.2 %) for foreigners in Älmhult, in total 7,700 (-39.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Älmhult out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 140 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.8 percent were domestic, and 3.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Älmhult on average 2.0 nights (-0.37) and foreigners 2.9 nights (-2.7).
