Registered bed nights increased 43 percent

In September 2021, 7,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Älmhult (+42.8 %), of which 5,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 39 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 51 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 43 percent from last year's September.

1,500 rooms (+54.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,100 rooms (+41.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 43,400 registered bed nights (+13.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 22,200 (+155.0 %) for foreigners in Älmhult, in total 65,600 (+39.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Älmhult out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

4,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 39 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 76.4 percent were domestic, and 23.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Älmhult on average 1.7 nights (-0.03) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+0.34).
