3,700 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 3,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Älmhult (-67.1 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 48 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 89 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 67 percent from last year's June.

600 rooms (-80.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 770 rooms (-56.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 16,000 registered bed nights (-46.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,100 (-73.6 %) for foreigners in Älmhult, in total 19,100 (-54.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Älmhult out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 65 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.0 percent were domestic, and 14.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Älmhult on average 2.0 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.17).
