2,400 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 2,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Alvesta (-8.6 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 570 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 14 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's September.

600 rooms (-34.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 950 rooms (+10.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 15,300 registered bed nights (-14.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,300 (-62.7 %) for foreigners in Alvesta, in total 19,600 (-33.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Alvesta out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 67.9 percent were domestic, and 32.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 2.0 nights (+0.4) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.53).

Registered January-September sales were 7.9 million SEK and they decreased 4.5 million euro from the previous year.
