Registered bed nights increased three percent
In June 2019, 3,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Alvesta (+3.1 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 12 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's June.
340 rooms (+14.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 680 rooms (-25.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 9,700 registered bed nights (-0.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,700 (+6.6 %) for foreigners in Alvesta, in total 13,400 (+1.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay increased 91 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 91 percent compared to earlier year. In Alvesta, length of stay in June was on average 4.4 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 4.2 nights (-10.9 %) and foreigners 4.8 nights (+62.4 %).
880 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 46 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 72.7 percent were domestic, and 27.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 4.2 nights (+1.7) and foreigners 4.8 nights (+2.9).
