Paid bed nights

2,500 registered bed nights

In November 2019, 2,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Alvesta (+0.1 %), of which 2,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 460 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 48 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased less than one percent from last year's November.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (167 nights).

440 rooms (+73.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (+57.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 21,600 registered bed nights (+14.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,600 (+0.9 %) for foreigners in Alvesta, in total 34,200 (+8.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Alvesta out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 1.9 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Alvesta, length of stay in November was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 1.8 nights (+1.2 %) and foreigners 2.5 nights (+36.2 %).

1,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.0 percent were domestic, and 14.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 1.8 nights (+0.04) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-2.6).
