Registered bed nights increased eight percent
In February 2020, 1,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Alvesta (+8.0 %), of which 1,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 540 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 44 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased eight percent from last year's February.
460 rooms (+124.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 660 rooms (-22.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 2,400 registered bed nights (+22.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 840 (-14.5 %) for foreigners in Alvesta, in total 3,200 (+9.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay increased 27 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 27 percent compared to earlier year. In Alvesta, length of stay in February was on average 2.3 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-3.1 %).
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 1.8 nights (+18.7 %) and foreigners 4.8 nights (-19.5 %).
700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 15 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.7 percent were domestic, and 16.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Alvesta on average 1.8 nights (+0.28) and foreigners 4.8 nights (+0.97).
