In April 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Älvkarleby (+34.7 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 57 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 23 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 35 percent from last year's April.
360 rooms (+29.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 460 rooms (+100.0 %) by business visitors.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 48 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.1 percent were domestic, and 1.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Älvkarleby on average 2.3 nights (-0.18) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-4.0).
