Registered bed nights increased three percent

In May 2022, 6,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Älvkarleby (+3.1 %), of which 6,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 550 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased three percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 300 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's May.

720 rooms (+82.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+133.3 %) by business visitors.

The market share of Älvkarleby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 29 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.0 percent were domestic, and 9.0 percent were from foreign countries.
