Registered bed nights increased 52 percent

In May 2022, 3,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Älvsbyn (+52.3 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 128 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 59 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 52 percent from last year's May.

1,000 rooms (+172.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 510 rooms (+59.9 %) by business visitors.

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Älvsbyn out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

2,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 102 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.9 percent were domestic, and 3.1 percent were from foreign countries.
