Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 10 percent

In May 2021, 1,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Åmål (+10.4 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 40 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 48 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (12 nights).

220 rooms (+187.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 330 rooms (-14.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 3,500 registered bed nights (-24.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 98 (-55.5 %) for foreigners in Åmål, in total 3,600 (-25.5 %) registered nights.
