Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 17 percent

In October 2021, 1,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Åmål (+17.0 %), of which 1,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased three percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 250 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 17 percent from last year's October.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (220 nights).

260 rooms (+45.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 450 rooms (+20.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 22,900 registered bed nights (+11.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,100 (+207.7 %) for foreigners in Åmål, in total 26,900 (+22.8 %) registered nights.
