Registered bed nights increased 50 percent

In September 2019, 3,500 bed nights were recorded in Ånge (+50.3 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 600 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 70 percent and foreign bed nights decreased three percent. In total, bed nights increased 50 percent from last year's September.

380 rooms (+10.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,300 rooms (+70.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 31,900 bed nights (+58.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,200 (+43.7 %) for foreigners in Ånge, in total 40,100 (+55.0 %) nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ånge out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 61 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 88.4 percent were domestic, and 11.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.1 nights (+0.02) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-0.87).
