Registered bed nights increased 27 percent

In September 2021, 3,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Ånge (+26.9 %), of which 3,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 31 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 27 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (99 nights).

490 rooms (+38.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+19.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 29,800 registered bed nights (+14.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,800 (+45.6 %) for foreigners in Ånge, in total 34,600 (+17.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ånge out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.2 percent were domestic, and 11.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.2 nights (+0.15) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.61).
