Ånge: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
2,200 registered bed nights
In May 2022, 2,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Ånge (-18.6 %), of which 1,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 17 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 19 percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (146 nights).
270 rooms (+370.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 910 rooms (+33.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 6,000 registered bed nights (-8.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 340 (-52.2 %) for foreigners in Ånge, in total 6,400 (-12.5 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.0 percent were domestic, and 8.0 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.2 nights (-0.44) and foreigners 3.4 nights (+0.07).
