Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 11 percent

In September 2018, 2,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Ånge (+10.7 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 620 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 11 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (44 nights).

340 rooms (+18.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 760 rooms (-29.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 20,200 registered bed nights (+6.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,700 (+69.0 %) for foreigners in Ånge, in total 25,900 (+15.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (-0.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.3 million nights (-1.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (+2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ånge out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Ånge, length of stay in September was on average 2.4 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (+0.8 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.0 nights (-5.9 %) and foreigners 4.1 nights (+13.0 %).

990 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 84.7 percent were domestic, and 15.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.0 nights (-0.34) and foreigners 4.1 nights (+2.1).
