Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 21 percent

In February 2020, 2,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Ånge (+20.5 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 47 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 21 percent from last year's February.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (440 nights).

187 rooms (+56.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 990 rooms (+34.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 2,900 registered bed nights (+9.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (+52.9 %) for foreigners in Ånge, in total 4,000 (+19.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (+3.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.5 million nights (+5.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 935,000 nights (-2.0 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased 47 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 47 percent compared to earlier year. In Ånge, length of stay in February was on average 3.1 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-3.1 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.5 nights (+11.8 %) and foreigners 7.2 nights (+27.8 %).
