Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 91 percent

In May 2021, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ånge (+90.8 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 310 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 81 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 91 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Romania (99 nights).

58 rooms (-27.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 680 rooms (+80.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 6,600 registered bed nights (-1.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 720 (-62.0 %) for foreigners in Ånge, in total 7,300 (-14.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ånge out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Ånge, length of stay in May was on average 2.7 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.6 nights (-0.2 %) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-32.1 %).

990 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 87 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.6 percent were domestic, and 9.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ånge on average 2.6 nights (-0.01) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+0.67).
