43,000 registered bed nights

In August 2022, 43,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Ängelholm (-6.4 %), of which 37,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 90 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased six percent from last year's August.

7,500 rooms (-6.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,900 rooms (+93.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 177,000 registered bed nights (+0.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 21,000 (+157.5 %) for foreigners in Ängelholm, in total 198,000 (+7.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 8.8 million registered bed nights (+5.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 6.5 million nights (-4.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.3 million nights (+44.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ängelholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

12,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.6 percent were domestic, and 16.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 3.6 nights (+0.27) and foreigners 2.8 nights (-0.63).
