16,400 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 16,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Ängelholm (-41.6 %), of which 16,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 90 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 42 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (161 nights).

2,900 rooms (-56.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-40.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 53,200 registered bed nights (-27.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,100 (-76.5 %) for foreigners in Ängelholm, in total 56,300 (-34.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ängelholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

6,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 55 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.6 percent were domestic, and 3.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 2.5 nights (+0.47) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+0.45).
