Registered bed nights increased 18 percent

In February 2023, 9,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Ängelholm (+18.4 %), of which 7,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased six percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 112 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's February.

2,700 rooms (+40.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,000 rooms (-2.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 14,300 registered bed nights (+17.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,100 (+110.0 %) for foreigners in Ängelholm, in total 17,400 (+27.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ängelholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased 13 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 13 percent compared to earlier year. In Ängelholm, length of stay in February was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 1.9 nights (+19.2 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+2.7 %).

4,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.1 percent were domestic, and 18.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 1.9 nights (+0.19) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.26).
