Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased three percent

In January 2020, 7,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Ängelholm (+3.2 %), of which 7,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 710 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 14 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's January.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (199 nights).

2,200 rooms (+28.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,600 rooms (-20.1 %) by business visitors.

Total of 3.9 million registered bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+2.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 797,000 nights (-0.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ängelholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Ängelholm, length of stay in January was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-2.0 %).

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 1.9 nights and foreigners 1.8 nights .
