12,500 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 12,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Ängelholm (-9.1 %), of which 11,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 860 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased one percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 60 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's September.

4,000 rooms (-2.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,500 rooms (-27.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 152,000 registered bed nights (-8.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,200 (-75.9 %) for foreigners in Ängelholm, in total 158,000 (-17.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-20.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 436,000 nights (-62.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ängelholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased six percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. In Ängelholm, length of stay in September was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 2.0 nights (+4.9 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 1.7 nights (+25.9 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-1.2 %).

7,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 1.7 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.6).
