Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 83 percent

In April 2022, 13,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ängelholm (+83.2 %), of which 12,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 75 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 280 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 83 percent from last year's April.

3,300 rooms (+45.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,900 rooms (+86.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 33,900 registered bed nights (+50.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,800 (+205.0 %) for foreigners in Ängelholm, in total 37,700 (+58.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.2 million registered bed nights (+64.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+46.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 791,000 nights (+260.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ängelholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased eight percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Ängelholm, length of stay in April was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-23.8 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 2.0 nights (-3.4 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-37.2 %).

6,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 69 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.2 percent were domestic, and 7.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ängelholm on average 2.0 nights (+0.16) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-0.53).
