Arboga: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 44 percent
In February 2022, 2,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Arboga (+43.8 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 192 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 36 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 640 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 44 percent from last year's February.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (68 nights).
340 rooms (+62.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 510 rooms (+52.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 5,100 registered bed nights (+36.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 320 (+487.3 %) for foreigners in Arboga, in total 5,400 (+42.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 53 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.7 percent were domestic, and 8.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arboga on average 3.0 nights (-0.15) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+0.23).
