Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 63 percent

In June 2020, 5,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Arboga (+63.3 %), of which 5,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 127 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 96 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 63 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (45 nights).

200 rooms (-52.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 790 rooms (+8.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 18,000 registered bed nights (+38.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 600 (-61.1 %) for foreigners in Arboga, in total 18,600 (+27.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 259,000 nights (-87.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Arboga out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 20 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 20 percent compared to earlier year. In Arboga, length of stay in June was on average 2.8 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (+13.0 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arboga on average 2.8 nights (+8.8 %) and foreigners 3.1 nights (-7.4 %).

2,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.1 percent were domestic, and 1.9 percent were from foreign countries.
