Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased four percent

In September 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Arboga (+4.1 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 143 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased four percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (33 nights).

290 rooms (-17.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 660 rooms (+7.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 45,000 registered bed nights (+13.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,900 (+60.3 %) for foreigners in Arboga, in total 47,000 (+14.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 90 percent compared to earlier year. In Arboga, length of stay in September was on average 3.6 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-2.5 %).
