2,900 registered bed nights

In February 2021, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Arendal And Grimstad (-51.5 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 48 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 69 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 52 percent from last year's February.

870 nights (-61.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,000 nights (-38.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 4,400 registered bed nights (-55.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 540 (-70.0 %) for foreigners in Arendal And Grimstad, in total 4,900 (-57.9 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 17 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Arendal And Grimstad, length of stay in February was on average 1.7 nights and in Norway 2.6 nights (+31.2 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arendal And Grimstad on average 1.7 nights (+14.8 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+50.3 %).

1,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 59 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.4 percent were domestic, and 6.6 percent were from foreign countries.
