4,900 registered bed nights

In May 2020, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Årjäng (-69.6 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 97 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 70 percent from last year's May.

230 rooms (-53.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 320 rooms (-58.5 %) by business visitors.

Total of 2.2 million registered bed nights (-58.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.1 million nights (-49.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 176,000 nights (-86.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Årjäng out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased 50 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 50 percent compared to earlier year. In Årjäng, length of stay in May was on average 3.4 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (+30.7 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Årjäng on average 3.3 nights and foreigners 7.0 nights .

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 80 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.2 percent were domestic, and 2.8 percent were from foreign countries.
