Registered bed nights increased 15 percent
In April 2021, 11,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Arjeplog (+15.0 %), of which 10,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 690 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 290 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's April.
700 rooms (+46.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+66.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 31,200 registered bed nights (-8.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 13,200 (-58.4 %) for foreigners in Arjeplog, in total 44,400 (-32.5 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 13 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.9 percent were domestic, and 7.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arjeplog on average 3.8 nights (+0.09) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-0.97).
