Registered bed nights increased 75 percent
In August 2022, 25,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Arjeplog (+75.5 %), of which 15,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 10,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 30 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 260 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 75 percent from last year's August.
4,100 rooms (+112.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-25.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 85,500 registered bed nights (+17.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 77,600 (+292.1 %) for foreigners in Arjeplog, in total 163,000 (+76.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 78 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 55.5 percent were domestic, and 44.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arjeplog on average 2.8 nights (-0.13) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+0.49).

Registered January-August sales were 74.1 million crowns and they increased 34.5 million crowns from the previous year.
