3,300 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 3,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Arjeplog (-81.5 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 67 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 98 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 81 percent from last year's June.

350 rooms (-91.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 620 rooms (+98.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 39,800 registered bed nights (-23.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 31,900 (-31.0 %) for foreigners in Arjeplog, in total 71,700 (-27.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Arjeplog out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 88 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arjeplog on average 2.6 nights (+0.09) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+1.6).
