3,100 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Arvidsjaur (-56.8 %), of which 3,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 163 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 39 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 93 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 57 percent from last year's June.

570 rooms (-67.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 810 rooms (+15.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 17,100 registered bed nights (-25.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 15,500 (-30.9 %) for foreigners in Arvidsjaur, in total 32,700 (-27.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Arvidsjaur out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 69 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.9 percent were domestic, and 6.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arvidsjaur on average 2.2 nights (+0.56) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+0.42).
