3,100 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 3,100 bed nights were recorded in Arvika (-44.6 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 630 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 37 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 62 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 45 percent from last year's March.

550 rooms (-59.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-28.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 9,700 bed nights (-13.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,200 (-25.4 %) for foreigners in Arvika, in total 12,900 (-16.8 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Arvika out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 45 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 83.5 percent were domestic, and 16.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arvika on average 1.9 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+0.16).
