Registered bed nights increased 78 percent

In April 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Arvika (+78.0 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 380 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 97 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 78 percent from last year's April.

500 rooms (+146.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+93.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 12,300 registered bed nights (+10.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,500 (-58.7 %) for foreigners in Arvika, in total 13,700 (-6.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Arvika out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 101 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.3 percent were domestic, and 6.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Arvika on average 1.9 nights (-0.23) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+0.57).
