Registered bed nights increased 14 percent (December 2021)
In December 2021, 1,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Åsele (+13.8 %), of which 630 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 730 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 182 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's December.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (320 nights).
11 rooms (-15.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 650 rooms (+4.2 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased seven percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 66.4 percent were domestic, and 33.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Åsele on average 3.8 nights (-0.1) and foreigners 8.7 nights (-0.56).
