3,000 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 3,000 bed nights were recorded in Åtvidaberg (-13.8 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 390 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 15 percent and foreign bed nights decreased four percent. In total, bed nights decreased 14 percent from last year's September.

1,200 rooms (+34.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 750 rooms (-35.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 13,400 bed nights (-40.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,700 (-47.1 %) for foreigners in Åtvidaberg, in total 15,200 (-41.2 %) nights.

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Åtvidaberg out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

2,100 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 91.3 percent were domestic, and 8.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Åtvidaberg on average 1.3 nights (-0.1) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.14).
