Registered bed nights increased 42 percent
In September 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Åtvidaberg (+41.8 %), of which 2,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's September.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (25 nights).
1,500 rooms (+73.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 700 rooms (-11.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 16,400 registered bed nights (+43.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (+91.1 %) for foreigners in Åtvidaberg, in total 18,000 (+46.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 63 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.1 percent were domestic, and 2.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Åtvidaberg on average 1.4 nights (-0.17) and foreigners 4.3 nights (+0.2).
