Bengtsfors: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 15 percent
In August 2022, 20,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Bengtsfors (+15.0 %), of which 13,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's August.
2,400 rooms (+14.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 142 rooms (-60.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 45,300 registered bed nights (+10.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26,300 (+91.6 %) for foreigners in Bengtsfors, in total 71,600 (+30.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 63.7 percent were domestic, and 36.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bengtsfors on average 3.6 nights (-1.0) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+0.99).
