Bengtsfors: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 39 percent
In May 2022, 6,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Bengtsfors (+39.0 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 750 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 39 percent from last year's May.
670 rooms (+271.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 680 rooms (+38.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 7,400 registered bed nights (+28.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,800 (+560.4 %) for foreigners in Bengtsfors, in total 9,200 (+52.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 77.8 percent were domestic, and 22.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bengtsfors on average 2.2 nights (-0.21) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-0.97).
