3,800 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Berg (-59.4 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 66 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 58 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 86 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 59 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (17 nights).

420 rooms (-74.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 46 rooms (-90.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 32,100 registered bed nights (-8.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,600 (-12.3 %) for foreigners in Berg, in total 34,700 (-8.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Berg out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 68 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.2 percent were domestic, and 1.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Berg on average 3.0 nights (+0.67) and foreigners 3.0 nights (+0.62).
