3,800 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Berg (-59.4 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 66 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 58 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 86 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 59 percent from last year's April.

360 rooms (-76.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 40 rooms (-91.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 32,100 registered bed nights (-8.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,600 (-12.3 %) for foreigners in Berg, in total 34,700 (-8.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased 29 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 29 percent compared to earlier year. In Berg, length of stay in April was on average 3.2 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Berg on average 3.2 nights (+16.4 %) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+2.3 %).

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 69 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.3 percent were domestic, and 1.7 percent were from foreign countries.
