Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 200 percent

In April 2021, 11,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Berg (+202.2 %), of which 11,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 43 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 210 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 35 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 200 percent from last year's April.

2,400 rooms (+568.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 173 rooms (+332.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 46,100 registered bed nights (+43.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 540 (-79.4 %) for foreigners in Berg, in total 46,700 (+34.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 219,000 nights (+91.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Berg out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 3.2 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. In Berg, length of stay in April was on average 3.2 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+1.3 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Berg on average 3.1 nights (-0.2 %) and foreigners 6.1 nights (+303.5 %).
