Registered bed nights increased 15 percent

In May 2021, 5,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Berg (+14.7 %), of which 5,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 39 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 13 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (16 nights).

340 rooms (+363.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 320 rooms (+191.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 52,000 registered bed nights (+39.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 580 (-78.3 %) for foreigners in Berg, in total 52,500 (+31.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+44.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Berg out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 18 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.0 percent were domestic, and 1.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Berg on average 2.9 nights (-0.06) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-1.8).
