Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 15 percent

In June 2021, 10,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Berg (+15.3 %), of which 10,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 360 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 43 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (230 nights).

1,300 rooms (+62.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 310 rooms (+52.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 62,100 registered bed nights (+35.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 940 (-67.7 %) for foreigners in Berg, in total 63,000 (+28.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.9 million registered bed nights (+34.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.5 million nights (+31.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 455,000 nights (+76.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Berg out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Berg, length of stay in June was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-5.5 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Berg on average 2.6 nights (-1.1 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+15.6 %).

4,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 27 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.2 percent were domestic, and 4.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Berg on average 2.6 nights (-0.24) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.36).
