3,800 registered bed nights

In April 2021, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Boden (-17.4 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 17 percent from last year's April.

1,100 rooms (+30.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 880 rooms (+22.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 15,700 registered bed nights (-33.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (-51.1 %) for foreigners in Boden, in total 17,400 (-35.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Boden out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.9 percent were domestic, and 7.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Boden on average 3.7 nights (+0.79) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+2.1).
