14,300 registered bed nights

In November 2020, 14,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Bodø (-53.1 %), of which 13,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 51 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 53 percent from last year's November.

3,800 nights (-57.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 6,600 nights (-52.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 187,000 registered bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,100 (-77.6 %) for foreigners in Bodø, in total 207,000 (-46.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 861,000 registered bed nights (-56.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 751,000 nights (-54.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 111,000 nights (-67.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Bodø out of total registered bed nights was 1.7 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.8 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

Length of stay increased 21 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. In Bodø, length of stay in November was on average 1.9 nights and in Norway 2.4 nights (+37.9 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bodø on average 1.9 nights (-1.9 %) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+10.8 %).

7,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 61 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.2 percent were domestic, and 2.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bodø on average 1.9 nights (+0.35) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+0.86).
