Registered bed nights increased 95 percent

In April 2021, 4,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Bollnäs (+95.1 %), of which 3,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 123 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 24 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 95 percent from last year's April.

850 rooms (+175.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,000 rooms (+39.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 15,700 registered bed nights (-15.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 900 (-70.6 %) for foreigners in Bollnäs, in total 16,600 (-23.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Bollnäs out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 136 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.0 percent were domestic, and 1.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bollnäs on average 1.7 nights (-0.13) and foreigners 14 nights (-6.0).
