Registered bed nights increased four percent
In May 2022, 8,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Bollnäs (+4.0 %), of which 7,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 290 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased four percent from last year's May.
1,700 rooms (+68.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,600 rooms (+18.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 28,600 registered bed nights (+21.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (+6.7 %) for foreigners in Bollnäs, in total 29,700 (+21.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 45 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.1 percent were domestic, and 2.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bollnäs on average 1.6 nights (-0.61) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-2.8).
