Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased nine percent

In June 2022, 13,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Bollnäs (+8.7 %), of which 12,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 43 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased nine percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (280 nights).

2,200 rooms (+37.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,300 rooms (+6.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 41,200 registered bed nights (+16.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,200 (+21.6 %) for foreigners in Bollnäs, in total 43,300 (+17.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Bollnäs out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.0 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Bollnäs, length of stay in June was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bollnäs on average 2.0 nights (-15.5 %) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-47.6 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 19 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.5 percent were domestic, and 6.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bollnäs on average 2.0 nights (-0.17) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.97).
