Registered bed nights increased 66 percent
In April 2021, 10,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Borås (+66.2 %), of which 9,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 640 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 64 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 108 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 66 percent from last year's April.
2,600 rooms (+118.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,200 rooms (+46.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 30,600 registered bed nights (-25.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,800 (-71.7 %) for foreigners in Borås, in total 32,400 (-31.5 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 97 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.5 percent were domestic, and 6.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Borås on average 2.0 nights (-0.4) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.09).
