30,700 registered bed nights

In July 2020, 30,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Borås (-36.7 %), of which 28,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 37 percent from last year's July.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (510 nights).

5,000 rooms (-40.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,200 rooms (-46.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and July, 89,700 registered bed nights (-33.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,200 (-75.7 %) for foreigners in Borås, in total 98,900 (-42.7 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Borås, length of stay in July was on average 2.3 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-0.2 %).

During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Borås on average 2.2 nights (+2.3 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+1.5 %).
