Registered bed nights increased 12 percent
In September 2021, 26,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Borgholm (+12.4 %), of which 23,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 65 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's September.
5,500 rooms (+43.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+78.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 1.1 million registered bed nights (+27.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 45,800 (+147.5 %) for foreigners in Borgholm, in total 1.1 million (+30.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.2 percent were domestic, and 9.8 percent were from foreign countries.
