Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased four percent

In February 2023, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Bräcke (+4.3 %), of which 2,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 550 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 38 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased four percent from last year's February.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (137 nights).

940 rooms (+20.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 600 rooms (+3.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 4,100 registered bed nights (-1.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,000 (+34.1 %) for foreigners in Bräcke, in total 5,100 (+3.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Bräcke out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Bräcke, length of stay in February was on average 2.4 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Bräcke on average 2.2 nights (-0.3 %) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+22.1 %).

1,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.0 percent were domestic, and 13.0 percent were from foreign countries.
