4,100 registered bed nights
In March 2020, 4,100 bed nights were recorded in Central Ostrobothnia (-52.1 %), of which 3,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 540 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 53 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 49 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 52 percent from last year's March.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Spain (143 nights).
1,800 nights (-56.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,300 nights (-47.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 16,300 bed nights (-22.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,500 (-22.4 %) for foreigners in Central Ostrobothnia, in total 18,800 (-22.5 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

2,400 tourists arrived to accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 93.7 percent were domestic, and 6.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Central Ostrobothnia on average 1.6 nights (+0.08) and foreigners 3.6 nights (-0.11).

Registered accommodation sales in March were 291,000 euro (-296,000).
Registered January-March sales were 1.4 million euro and they decreased 287,000 euro from the previous year.
