Registered bed nights increased one percent
In June 2018, 17,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Central Ostrobothnia (+1.0 %), of which 15,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased one percent from last year's June.
11,000 nights (-5.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 6,200 nights (+13.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 54,100 registered bed nights (-6.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,800 (+11.3 %) for foreigners in Central Ostrobothnia, in total 60,900 (-4.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased seven percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. In Central Ostrobothnia, length of stay in June was on average 1.8 nights and in Finland 1.8 nights (-0.0 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Central Ostrobothnia on average 1.7 nights (-2.2 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+18.2 %).
9,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased six percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.6 percent were domestic, and 6.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Central Ostrobothnia on average 1.7 nights (+0.02) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+1.6).
