6,900 registered bed nights
In January 2020, 6,900 bed nights were recorded in Central Ostrobothnia (-7.1 %), of which 6,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 910 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and foreign bed nights increased two percent. In total, bed nights decreased seven percent from last year's January.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Italy (113 nights).
2,400 nights (-11.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 4,500 nights (-4.5 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 93.3 percent were domestic, and 6.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Central Ostrobothnia on average 1.5 nights (-0.1) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+0.43).
