Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 125 percent

In June 2021, 277,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Copenhagen (+124.8 %), of which 195,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 81,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 102 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 210 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 125 percent from last year's June.

147,000 nights (+144.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 77,000 nights (+107.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 722,000 registered bed nights (+10.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 231,000 (-70.9 %) for foreigners in Copenhagen, in total 954,000 (-34.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 9.9 percent

Total of 2.8 million registered bed nights (+38.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (+36.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 393,000 nights (+45.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Copenhagen out of total registered bed nights was 9.9 % (+3.8 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 8.1 % and foreign bed nights 20.8 %.
