Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 130 percent

In January 2022, 230,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Copenhagen (+130.4 %), of which 137,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 93,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 88 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 240 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 130 percent from last year's January.

108,000 nights (+167.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 74,100 nights (+143.8 %) by business visitors.

Market share 29.3 percent

Total of 785,000 registered bed nights (+120.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 604,000 nights (+97.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 181,000 nights (+264.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Copenhagen out of total registered bed nights was 29.3 % (+1.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 22.6 % and foreign bed nights 51.5 %.
