3,200 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 3,200 bed nights were recorded in Dorotea (-19.2 %), of which 3,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 210 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 17 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 19 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (118 nights).

530 rooms (-1.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 250 rooms (-27.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 9,200 bed nights (+3.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 770 (-6.5 %) for foreigners in Dorotea, in total 9,900 (+2.7 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Dorotea out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,100 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 94.0 percent were domestic, and 6.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Dorotea on average 3.0 nights (-0.24) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+0.53).
