Paid bed nights

3,100 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Dorotea (-8.7 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 24 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (250 nights).

420 rooms (+364.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 570 rooms (+2.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 26,100 registered bed nights (-10.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,100 (-4.1 %) for foreigners in Dorotea, in total 32,200 (-9.5 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Dorotea, length of stay in September was on average 2.4 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-1.3 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Dorotea on average 2.5 nights (-4.2 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-1.4 %).

1,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 80.8 percent were domestic, and 19.2 percent were from foreign countries.
